PRE-LAUNCH DOCUMENT

Terms of use

Last updated August 12, 2026

Founder review required

This is a clear pre-launch structure, not final legal advice. Bracketed fields need founder and counsel input before commercial launch.

1. Pre-launch website

These terms cover the SideFact marketing website, waitlist, and referral links. SideFact is not yet publicly available on the App Store. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee beta access, a release date, pricing, or any particular feature.

2. Product demonstrations

Screens and metrics shown on this website demonstrate the intended product experience. Conversation scores and signal values are example interface data, not clinical findings, research claims, or guarantees of accuracy. Features may change before release.

3. Responsible use

SideFact provides communication context and estimated conversational signals. It does not read minds, establish another person’s feelings or intentions, or replace professional advice. Users will be responsible for complying with applicable consent, recording, privacy, and communication laws where they use the future app.

4. Acceptable website use

Do not misuse forms, bypass rate limits or access controls, probe private administrative functions without authorization, interfere with service availability, or use automated systems to collect waitlist data.

5. Intellectual property

SideFact’s name, app icon, website design, product screens, copy, and associated materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. The final rights-owning entity and trademark status are [to be confirmed by the founder].

6. Communications

By joining the waitlist, you ask to receive SideFact early-access and launch updates. You can opt out of non-essential messages using the method provided in those communications.

7. Availability and disclaimers

This pre-launch website is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no guarantee is made that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that product demonstrations will match the final release. Jurisdiction-specific warranty terms require legal review.

8. Liability

Any limitation of liability must be tailored to the final operating entity, product, and applicable consumer law. [Founder and counsel must provide final limitation language before commercial launch.]

9. Governing law and disputes

Governing law, venue, consumer-dispute provisions, and any arbitration language are [not yet selected and require founder/counsel input].

10. Contact and updates

Contact: [founder-provided support email required]. These terms may be updated as SideFact approaches launch; the date above will be revised when that happens.
